Gondwes From Zambia: Michael Mikayeli Gondwe
Profile by Eric Gondwe  Dr. Michael Gondwe is the president (CEO) of the Eastern and Southern African Trade and Development Bank or simply PTA Bank. PTA Bank is currently headquartered in Nairobi, Kenya.
The Bank still uses its original name, PTA Bank, created by the initial preferential trade area (PTA) agreement among Eastern and Southern African countries.
The PTA agreement later graduated to a common market regional trade agreement, thus the new name, Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA).
